lichen preparation

in august i collected two types of lichen from an old dead apple tree in Croyde, before it got burnt.
i kept in a ziplock bag until now.
today i put into a plastic container, weed onto it twice (morning and evening) and put on a tight lid.
now i must leave it for a month.
